Zelda nymph

Here we will be tying the fly Zelda by Kjartan Antonsson. The fly is first and foremost a salmon fly pattern that was official here in Iceland few years ago. I decided to dress the Zelda fly idea to a nymph. And BOOM! What a great option for the arctic char! I caught over 100 fishes on the nymph version of the fly last summer. Zelda nymph was indeed the sputnik fly for me in the 2020 season. It is a simple pattern to tie and totally worth to keep few in your box when go fishing.

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
