Hook: Ahrex HR430, #6
Thread: Danville 3/0, Orange
Tail: Schlappen, Chartreuse
Body: Squirmy wormy, Glow in the Dark
Hackle: Grizzly Hen dyed Orange
Bead: Glitty Tungsten Bead, Chartreuse

This Remnant fly evolved from the sample of Ahrex hooks I found and the Hareline Glitty Beads I also ran across. Also, I figured since I was venturing into new territory why not wrap some glow in the dark Squirmy Worm to see how it turn out. Mostly thinking of this as a panfish nymph rather than a trout nymph but it might even work as a steelhead nymph. Colorful and who knows, the glow in the dark Squirmy Wormy might just bring 'em in. --Enjoy

As I continue the Remnant fly series I will have a #12 fly out in a couple weeks and it and all future Remnant flies will be only on Locals for those who support the community. After a year (or so) of being on the Guild community I will then publish them to everyone on YouTube. Exclusive content is one small way to thank those who support the Dressed Irons Guild Community.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
