Floating Gamma

Gammarus or scuds are proberbly one of the most important prey for trout and graylings, so allways have some in the box. In this video we once again have teamet up with danish flytyer, guide and flyfisher Jesper Lindquist Andersen to show us the flies he uses for his own coastal flyfishing for sea-run-browns. As an extra detail he is using foam instead of traditional vinyl for the back of the gammarus, which allows him to fish this scud over very shallow water, or if the trouts are chasing just below the surface.

Hook: Ahrex NS172 Curved Gammarus
Thread: Tan UTC
Rib: Monofilament Nylon

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
