Clouser's Half & Half Variant

When you combine two of the most well-known and effective flies for saltwater fly fishing, you can't go wrong... and in this video we will present the result of the combination of Clouser's Minnow and Lefty's Deciver which created the "new" classic – The Clouser's Half & Half. In this video we have had Morten "Coastfly" behind the vice to tie and guide you through his version of the famous fly, but we will let Bob Clouser himself describe the original fly:
“A combination of the two most effective flies we ever used; the rear is Lefty’s Deceiver and the front portion is a Clouser Minnow. A proven big fish fly especially for big bass and stripers or saltwater species. All with epoxy protected heads, metallic eyes and appropriate flash material.”

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
