Mike Martinek - April Snow Rangeley Streamer
I already have a couple of big Mike's streamers in my collection, but here is one I have never actually seen up close. It may be November snow starting around the continent, but the April Snow will be a nice distraction over the winter. The pattern uses a lavender guinea fowl feather that a few tyers love to incorporate into their patterns. If you can find a full skin, be sure to snap it up, and share a few feathers with your streamer brethren. this one comes from Paul Schmookler's collection, and there are also quite a number of other collectible flies on his doubleleopard account.
