Notes: Gray Wolf has a series of streamers he developed using llama hair in the wing. Around 2003, he began developing the series of streamers and favored the llama hair in place of marabou. He felt that the llama hair equaled or out performed marabou when it cames to movement in the water and durability. He was also in favor of the hair because it wets quicker and dries faster. Fewer false casts to right the fly meant more time in the water, in front of the fish noses. Some of the other streamers in the series included Chapman Smelt, Golden Shiner Smelt, Bleeding Smelt, Orange Crush, Chapman's Special Tie, Red Flash, Brookie's Request, Blue Ice, Patriot, Purple Minnow, Night Stalker (glow in the dark), Red Rocket, Orange Minnow, and several classic color schemes like Mickey Finn and Black Ghost.
