Tied by: David Mac
Originated by: David Mac

Hook: Gaelic Supreme Martinek Carrie Stevens Hook #1 10XL
Head: Black
Rib: Oval Uni French small silver tinsel
Body: Flat silver Mylar size 10
Underbody: Tan bucktail
Throat: Black hackle
Wing: Two fiery brown saddle hackles flanked by two slightly shorter tan saddle hackles
Shoulder: Cream turkey flats topped with black Francolin rump feathers
Eyes: Jungle cock

Notes: The Beige Grimard was commissioned in 2009 by Mr. Alain Grimard. Every summer, the Grimard Family leaves their home in Canada to travel south to their camp in beautiful Vermont. Mr. Grimard commissioned this special streamer to be a remembrance of their 2009 fishing adventure. Ready to entice the local brook trout, this streamer proved to be a success and was ordered again for subsequent trips south. When wet, this streamer holds a thin profile resembling the shape and color of local baitfish.

David, this is a beautiful fly!!! I love the colors, and that shoulder feather really sets off the whole fly quite nicely. Two thumbs up!!!

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
