Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Streamer Hook #1 8xl
Thread: Black
Body: Silver flat tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Underwing: Peacock herl 4-6
Under-shoulder: Red and yellow schlappen fibers
Throat: Red and yellow schlappen fibers
Wing: Gray hackle flanked by light blue hackle
Shoulder: Lavender guinea fowl
Eyes: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: This is a beautiful trolling smelt pattern with just a smattering of color thrown in. The blend of red and yellow schlappen on the front end of the streamer is like the flames painted on the vintage muscle car. The light blue and grey hackles in the wing melt into the lavender guinea fowl shoulder, no doubt any salmon worth its mettle would chase this streamer down for a tangle in the atmosphere.

Since you got this far …
… I have a small favor to ask.
Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
