Snowbee adapter in the vise

Unfortunately the Snowbee/Waldron adapter is so thick in the flat part that the vise is supposed to grip, that most vises have to give up. Not even my own original Waldron vise could open wide enough to hold it and this cheap Indian Regal vise could just barely be forced open enough.
