Instruction:
- Start the thread in the rear of the hook
- Tie in the hackle
- Cut a shallow slit in the foam cylinder
- Add superglue to the hook shank (optional)
- Pass the slit over the hook shank
- Pass the thread over the foam and tie down
- Wrap the thread forwards in tight open turns, creating clear segmentation in the foam
- Add colored dots in a regular pattern to the segments using markers
- Wrap the hackle in the grooves formed by the thread
- Tie down hackle and foam and whip finish under the foam
- Cut surplus thread, foam and hackle
- Varnish
- Mark the head black
