Bay Area in April

Hi all,

I will be staying in San Jose early April on business and will hopefully be able to squeeze in half a day of fishing. Until now, I have been looking at Putah Creek, but it is quite a drive, and at the Stanislaus River, although I don't know how interesting it is.

Do you have any comments on the two options I mention, or other spots to wet a line in the Bay Area?
